Inspiration Shoot :: Brittany + Taylor

How about starting the week off with some pretty, hmm?  Yes, I thought you'd agree.  When photographer Katie Neal sent these images our way, we were instantly besotted.  When we heard the story behind them, we became even more so!  Check below for the background behind the shoot, and be sure to check out the talented vendors involved: event designer Lindye Galloway, floral designer We Like Flowers, and rentals expert Jeni from Found Vintage Rentals.  Thanks, ladies!

From Brittany, the bride:

"My husband and I were thrilled to get wonderful, frame-able photos from Kaite and Ryan, the husband and wife team that makes up Katie Neal Photo!  The ability to redo our wedding day photos was such a wonderful opportunity.  There was no stress of guests waiting or a list of to-do's going through my head.  The day-after shoot was set up beautifully.  From the gorgeous flowers, to the vintage furniture, to the casual elegance of each scene, it was a perfect recreation of our Texas-meets-vintage wedding theme.  We had a blast with each person involved and felt so comfortable with them all.

From Katie, the photographer:

"When Brittany approached me, she told me she really wanted some good frame-able photos of she and her new husband, and thus wanted to do a day-after session (their wedding-day photographer didn't leave much time for portraits of them together).  Some amazing vendors came together, in an attempt to 'remake' a piece of their day.  Her wedding colors were yellow, white, and orange, she married a man from Texas, and she's sweet like a Southern belle.  The bride brought some fun things to add to the shoot, such as the amazing s'mores cupcakes (that she made), a teapot, and the cute dolphin and shark cake toppers that they used at their wedding (which they made out of clay).  Brittany was beaming the whole time, and we could all tell the setup was exactly what she wanted!  We ended up with plenty of frame-able photos." :)

Congratulations, Brittany + Taylor!  We can tell you love your photos, and we do, too!
