Valentine's Day Giveaway: Brion Hopkins

Hey y'all!  You've already seen our big V-Day double feature, and hopefully you were able to tune in to our live office party broadcast.  But we do have one more trick up our sleeve -- a fantastic wedding day photography package from Brion Hopkins! 

Here's what's being offered: Brion is ponying up 8 hours of wedding-day coverage with him, a high-resolution disc of the retouched wedding day images, an online slideshow, and a feature on the Southern Weddings blog (well, we're ponying up that part!).

Unlike most giveaways, however, this one's not completely free: the winning couple will pay $1,000.  Brion will subtract his travel expenses (if the winning couple is getting married outside of southern California) and the remainder will be donated to Doctors Without Borders for Haiti relief.  We're thrilled to get behind Brion's effort and think it will be a beyond-fantastic opportunity for one lucky couple.  How cool is it that -- though you're not getting photography for nothing, the money you do spend will be going straight to a deserving charity!

We are looking for fun and creative couples, so if this sounds like you and your fiance(e), please email brion at brion hopkins dot com AND emily at iloveswmag dot com with the following information:

-- the location and date of your wedding

-- a photo or two of you and your fiance(e)

-- a short description of how you met/your love story

-- a short description of your plans for your wedding: how it will be unique, stylish, handmade, or creative, as well as any details you've already nailed down

The cutoff date for the contest is March 1, so make sure to get your entries in before then!  Brion and the SW ladies will choose the top contenders, and then we'll vote right here on the blog starting on March 10. Please note: if Brion is already booked on your wedding date, we won't be able to consider your entry.
