Lately I have been a little obsessed with watercolor illustrations. With that said, today, I bring some inspiration that's all about the type of whimsical watercolor touches that are reminders of nostalgic childhood summers spent reading Peter Rabbit tales and picking wildflowers in the park. The look is a little romantic, a little organic and a whole lot of chic. Have a peak!

First Row: Paper chic - gorgeously illustrated invitations by Felix Doolittle. Second Row: Jcrew Silk-print "Sweet Papaya" pumps, a "fresh-picked" bouquet of Spanish Lavender and flowering oregano via Brides.com, and a gorgeous watercolor-chiffon gown by Atelier Aimee. Third Row: edible flowers add whimsy to summer cocktails via Martha Stewart. Pretty take-away bouquets make sweet parting gifts {via Martha Stewart Weddings}, wildflower-tacks keep escort cards in place on wooden planks {via Brides.com} and sugar-wildflowers dress a classic multi-tier cake {via Brides.com}. Fourth row: Edible flowers add whimsy to cupcakes {via Martha Stewart Weddings}, a chic illustration by uber-talented watercolor artist Anne Watkins, glamour-chic watercolor gown by Marchesa and a pretty crown of flowers for the flower girl {via Brides.com}. Bottom row: Pansy-stuffed cabbage {via Real Simple}, potted-wildflower escort card design {via Brides.com}, pails filled with fresh-picked wildflowers {via Martha Stewart Weddings} and lavender cupcakes topped with edible flowers {via Martha Stewart}.
Until next Wednesday! Xoxo, Wanwisa
