It's Earth Month so today's inspirations are all about adding that eco-chic touch to your celebration. Whether you are a green bride that wants to throw an absolutely eco-conscious wedding that includes an earth-friendly gown or you're a conscientious bride that would like to add smaller touches to her big day, there are tons of fabulous options out there that can add lovely details to your wedding while reminding guests how important the environment is. Here are some great ideas and resources!

First up, {top row} instead of tossing petals down the aisle, have your flower girls toss punched flowers from biodegradable seed paper {via Martha Stewart Weddings}. In lieu of a guest book one couple opted to have guests sign linen squares that the bride will turn into a keepsake quilt {via Martha Stewart Weddings}. A resourceful couple asked friends and family to lend linens and china in their wedding colors - the result, an eclectic mix of patterns that give a vintage-chic appeal and is anything but wasteful! {via Martha Stewart Weddings}. Second Row: Shop for plantable confetti from Bontanical Paperworks for your wedding toss! Use letterpress menu cards from Smock stationary, a chic paper goods company that uses vegetable-based inks on bamboo paper {via Brides.com}. For fabulous favors, give guests lovely potted plants that are not only earth-friendly but also stylish {via Brides.com}. Third Row: Shop for organic gowns from Deborah Lindquist and chic organic and vintage accessories from Jennifer Behr. Give guests pretty Bloembox Flower Seeds from Beau-coup.com. Bottom Row: Send out invitations by Oblation Papers; not only are they green, the designs range from classic to modern and are simply divine! And don't forget to feed guests delicious food from caterers who use organic and local foods - a chic idea for cocktail hour treats is to serve up appetizers in "edible containers" {via brides.com}.
Until next Wednesday! Xoxo, Wanwisa
