March Madness + Spring Dreaming + Pop Quiz
It's officially March and we have a lot in store. Later this month, we'll be launching SW Blog v2.0 with a slew of new features, upgrades and changes. (For one, I finally created myself an account on this blog so you know when it's me!) Stay posted for details.
With spring around the corner, we all start thinking about change... transformation... flowers blooming, shedding winter thoughts and moving into the newness of the season ahead. Instead of "spring cleaning", I've decided to start what I call "spring dreaming". Brides, take some time to just let your mind wander where it wants to go for your wedding inspiration. Spend time at museums, immersed in a travel book, listening to new music, get some fresh air, make a date with yourself and just take some time to explore. You never know what will come out of the woodwork and sing to your heart.
I did a little spring dreaming of my own today and was instantly drawn to these March favs:
1. Tiffany Keys - brilliant, sweet, and they have an antique nostalgic quality. I'd wear them all together, with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt or for a night out; 2. colored masking tape found via one of my favorite blogs, {Creature Comforts}. There's nothing better than getting real mail sealed with a kiss and a little spring color to boot.; 3. the Nars Love set is perfect for a healthy glow on the big day and travel-sized beauty for the honeymoon, 4. I've been using Fekkai products for over a decade and can't get enough of this delicious Glossing travel set they recently created. The glossing set is made with olive oil and a tempting fragrance for sheen and softness; 5. I am such a fan of {dogeared}. These make great bridesmaid gifts. I love their Make a Wish collection too; 6. How fun and flirty is this Platinum for Priscilla of Boston mini flare dress?! If I were a bride, I would buy this in a heartbeat and jet off to some exotic island to marry my love. Can't you see this on the beach at #10?; 7. Ski season is in full swing. My fav skis from K2 - hot burning love. Nothing will take the chill off of winter better than this killer pair; 8. gorgeous gems from Fuss Jewelry (also featured in our current issue). Wendy can make anything custom to match bridesmaid's dresses, a honeymoon bathing suit, or just for everyday wear post-wedding; 9. great pair of sporty shades for the slopes from Burton; 10. the destination I'm dreaming of right now... the cure-all for the winter blues and a tempting honeymoon spot... The W Retreat and Spa Maldives. Anyone want to join me?

Oh by the way, the post was fun to look at too! I've wanted to go to the Maldives forever and we tried really hard to plan our honeymoon there. But do you know how hard it is to get there??!! Flight to India, then a private plane to the island, etc. plus Delta didn't fly there so we couldn't use our miles. But do you have any helpful info on planning a stress-free trip to the Maldives? :) YES I want to join you if you're going!! (can my hubby come too?)
