Mammoth Reruns :: Kyle Barnes, Part II

Welcome back for Part Two of FOUR from Kyle Barnes and second shooter Jory Cordy!

So, we know how they met their men and were asked the big question.  Now, let's hear about the dates, attraction and even the pre-wedding jitters.  The Wilson sisters married in their very favorite beach vacation spot: Seaside, Florida.  Seaside is a beautiful Gulf Coast beach community and with those gorgeous white sandy beaches it is a perfect destination wedding location.  With this double wedding came two bridal parties.  Annie's bridesmaids wore their own favorite black dresses.  Callie's bridesmaids wore black matching dresses from Black Velvet Bridal in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  The dazzling bouquets were created by Destin Floral Design.  Alright, now on to the ceremony!  How fab are these shoes!?

What attracted me to my husband was: Annie: Patrick has a very genuine heart. He is selfless and honest. He wants to eventually have his own charity that reaches out to those less fortunate and teaches them how to make a living based on the resources they already have.
Callie: His outgoing personality and his love for life and Christ.
Why do you love your husband? Annie: He makes me happy. He fills the holes of insecurity that I have with confidence. He truly is my soul mate and best friend.
Callie: Dylan is everything I could imagine my husband being and more. He is loving, funny, compassionate, and has a good heart. I know he will always take care of me and be there for me no matter what happens. Whatever we are doing, we will always have a good time together. I couldn’t imagine my life without him.
What attracted me to my wife was: Patrick: Not only have I always found her physically beautiful, but initially I was also drawn to her personality. Annie has such an energy for life that it pulled me in. She cares for and finds joy in others. She is spontaneous and carefree. Throughout our relationship I have seen how we both have similar interests, yet very different personalities and we both compliment each other so well.
Dylan: Her gorgeous smile, her beautiful green eyes, her contagious laugh, and her relationship with the Lord.
A date we went on that we'll always remember: Annie: Our first date! Another funny thing about that first date is that I was still moving into the town home I had just bought so my mom was still staying with me and was able to meet Patrick that first date! She still talks about how she was talking to him when he first came over, since I was still getting ready of course, and how when my bedroom door opened, Patrick stopped talking and immediately stood up. Now, we still don’t know if that was because he was so enthralled by my beauty or if he just couldn’t wait to leave because my mom was talking his ear off and asking too many questions!
Callie: Our first trip to Seaside, Florida together. Our last night there, we took chocolate and strawberries down the beach. There was a full moon out and it was a clear and warm night. It just doesn’t get better than that for a romantic date!
Describe your wedding flowers: Annie: You need a picture because a description won’t do justice! My flowers were gorgeous! My bouquet had big green cymbidium orchids, with little dendrobium orchids and fuchsia celosia mixed into light green hydrangea.
Funniest moment? Annie: Probably right before the scariest moment when we were waiting in the Vera Bradley Inn for the golf cart to take us to the ceremony. It was a really hot, really sunny July day and we were trying so hard not to sweat! We both stuffed ourselves in the little powder bath because it was the coolest room in the house! We were fanning ourselves like crazy and laughing, nervously I might add. The other funny thing would probably be the amount that Dylan cried. I’ve never seen a boy cry so much! Love you Dylan!
Scariest moment? Annie: Right before the ceremony, Callie and I were waiting for the golf cart to come pick us up with our dad and they were pretty late. We thought that they had forgotten to get us!
Callie: I would have to say discovering just days before the wedding that my dress was too big. We had to quickly find somewhere that would be willing to alter the dress, in only a matter of a couple days. Luckily the ladies at the French Laundry in Grayton Beach were up for the challenge. The day before the wedding I got my dress back fitting much better than before.

More to come from The Wilson Sisters!
