Southern Sayings Contest :: Winner

Well I'll be! We were overwhelmed with the response that we received on our Southern Sayings Twitter contest. After sifting through hundreds of responses--and dying of laughter-- we have discovered some of the best three sayings from the South. While I was proud to be Southern before, now that I've heard some of the oh-so-Southern sayings, I am even more proud of my heritage!

It's too bad this contest ended when it did... I was part of a football-related email chain going around my family yesterday wherein one of my uncles described the University of TN's football coach's wife as "hotter than a 9-eyed stove" -- I died laughing when I read that.
