Wanwisa Wednesday: Map Out Your Day!

Today we bring you Wanwisa's tenth post and tips on how to "Map Out Your Day!" If you have missed a post along the way or just want to refresh your Wanwisa inspirations be sure to check out Part I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and  IX.

From Wanwisa: I have always been drawn to maps whether they are antique, hand-drawn or modern because maps don’t just provide vital information but are also beautiful to look at.

For your big day, find ways to incorporate maps into your wedding design. Try putting together a welcome basket for out-of-town guests in cute and very eco-chic Map Totes {maptotes.com}. Have a chic calligrapher like {Nancy Howell} (top right maps) or {Laura Hooper} (top and center left maps) design hand-drawn maps of your wedding locale. Throwing a destination wedding? Send out gorgeous antique maps of your wedding destination like my friends Erica and Juan did; the bride, a jewelry designer created her own gorgeous save-the-dates! Bride and groom from different towns? Have a look at {Mr. Boddington Studio’s} fun and modern save-the-dates that map out a couple’s courtship or, have your guests map out your relationship for you like I did! Have a look at the {Cavallini and Co.’s} Old New York postcards (they also have a vintage maps set available) I put out for our guests in lieu of a guestbook – we had many guests pin point various meaningful locations. So have fun and add maps to your big event.

Until next Wednesday! Xoxo, Wanwisa

PS- A big Happy Birthday to Wanwisa from the SW gals! We can't wait to see you in New York City this weekend!

Hi, this blog is one of my favorite blogs ever & I always look forward to Wanwisa Wednesdays! If you like maps you should definitely check out BYLU jewelry (if you haven't already)! http://www.bylu-nyc.com/

One of their lines, the Compass Rose collection, incorporates chips & pieces of historic maps along with 14k gold & gemstones. So beautiful! Just thought I'd share! Have a great day!
